Industrias Alegre has been recognized by Ford Motor Company with the "Crisis Management" award and nominated for the "Solve Together" award during its annual Supplier Summit held last Thursday, May 15, in Detroit, USA.

This award, which is given globally among the thousands of suppliers that are part of Ford's supply chain around the world and at different levels, has distinguished the Valencian corporation for having shown an exceptional attitude of collaboration and management capacity in the face of a crisis of enormous dimensions.

The result of a joint effort

On behalf of Industrias Alegre, the award was received by its CEO, Enrique Careaga, who thanked Ford for the recognition and highlighted the joint effort of the entire human team of the company during one of the most difficult periods in its history.

As is well known, on September 29, 2024, Industrias Alegre's facilities in Valencia were severely affected by the floods caused by the Dana, totally damaging its installations and leaving all its industrial activity inoperative. Despite the impact, the company reacted quickly by reorganizing processes, prioritizing the continuity of supply and working closely with its customers -especially Ford- to minimize the effects and avoid interruptions in the value chain.

Reacting to adversity with collaboration

"This is a recognition of our ability to react to adversity and as such we appreciate it; but we know it also recognizes the culture of collaboration we share with Ford," Careaga stated. "In critical times, what makes the difference is mutual trust and determination to find solutions together."

With this new award, Industrias Alegre demonstrates that, in addition to being an international supplier committed to innovation and sustainability, it knows how to offer the most demanding industrial customers the highest operational excellence. Even in very difficult times.
