One year after the storm, the press celebrates our reconstruction

On the first anniversary of the storm that devastated our plant in Albal, many media outlets have focused on the story of how Industrias Alegre overcame adversity. From Levante-EMV, Las Provincias, Intereconomía Radio, and other regional media outlets to La Vanguardia, TVE's news program, Economía3, and the legendary Autorrevista, everyone has wanted to know how the team at this company has managed to rise from the ashes to become a stronger and more efficient business.

The date of October 29 breaks our hearts because it brings back memories of the tragedy that struck our region a year ago. But at the same time, we are touched and committed by the attention and affection we are receiving from the press these days. Because it recognizes the efforts of recent months. And above all, because every interview and every report reflects what makes us most proud: the involvement of the people who are part of Industrias Alegre.

With an eye on recovery

In the newspaper Levante EMV, captures precisely that spirit with the headline "Industrias Alegre, key supplier to Ford, emerged from the mud." His article, which has also been published in La Opinión de Murcia, El Periódico de Aragón, and El diario de Mallorca, details how our company managed to resume production in record time, highlighting the speed with which logistics were reorganized to maintain supply to customers.

For its part, Las Provincias has highlighted the exemplary nature of our reconstruction, describing how the plant, which was destroyed by water, has reopened with new facilities, more efficient processes, and a more rational organization.

Also La Vanguardia has chosen to focus on the more human side of things. In her article, editor Neus Navarro quotes our CEO, Enrique Careaga, acknowledging that the process "has been agonizing, but we must celebrate the good." The newspaper highlights the lessons learned this year: the value of people and the ability to transform adversity into an opportunity for improvement.

The team takes center stage

The specialized publication Autorrevista, focused on the automotive sector, has gone further and portrayed the people who have made this rebirth possible. In its report, entitled "When the team is the pillar", it puts a face to the collective effort of technicians, engineers, and operators who turned an unprecedented crisis into an example of industrial resilience.

And in the audiovisual field, TVE (from minute 7:02) visited our plant to report on the consequences that mudslide had on our industry and to tell the story of our recovery with the help of our colleague Mónica Alegre.

She was also invited by Intereconomía Radio to the motor section prepared by Nacho Santos. A calm interview in which our company's voice could be heard summarizing this year as "the transition from mud to efficiency" and highlighting the importance of having taken advantage of the reconstruction to innovate, reorganize, and modernize each process.

A collective effort

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all these media outlets. Every line published and every minute of airtime reminds us that the history of Industrias Alegre is also the history of a region, an industry, and a way of understanding work based on trust, responsibility, and continuous improvement. Thank you for accompanying us on this journey. We are back. And, as we say at home, we have come back better than ever.
