Our Talent Academy closes its second class

For two years, various professionals from our plants in Albal and Poland have completed 128 hours of training designed by Industrias Alegre to promote internal talent. It has been a program that has combined strategy, leadership, innovation, and diverse skills. The closing ceremony was held on December 11 with the presentation of diplomas and testimonials that summarize the spirit of the academy: learning, teamwork, and vision for the future.

At Industrias Alegre, we continue to consolidate a simple but decisive idea: talent is not a slogan, it is a strategy. A few days ago, we celebrated the closing of the second class of the I.Alegre Talent Academy, a program created to develop and strengthen professional skills and align them with the company's challenges.

It has been a two-year journey and 128 hours of training during which participants have worked on a combination of knowledge, skills, and attitudes that directly impact the organization's performance and ability to move forward with strength.

A journey designed for growth and application

Because our Talent Academy is more than just a course "to learn more": it is a path to do better: understand the business, prioritize, communicate with impact, lead teams, negotiate, manage projects, and navigate change with agility. That's why the program includes modules that reflect the skills map required by our environment, ranging from results orientation to negotiation skills, industry 4.0, and finance for non-financial professionals.

And, as this is the second edition, the program has been updated with two modules that respond to clear trends: one dedicated to giving effective presentations with the help of AI and the other to Covey habits (the famous 7 habits of highly effective people).

An academy with an international focus and a cross-disciplinary approach

One of the most visible values of this promotion has been the representation of different areas and departments, with participation from Albal and Poland. The company knows that combining training with daily responsibilities is no easy task. That is why the level of involvement shown by the participants over these months speaks above all of commitment.

The group that completed this second promotion consisted of Kamil Baran, quality (Poland), Rosa Belda, operations – logistics (Albal), Alejandro Espert, engineering and processes (Albal), Dominik Grzelak, processes (Poland), Sonia Gregorio, sales (Albal), Magdalena Kaczmarczyk, HR (Poland), and Violeta Kuzmina, quality (Albal).

And the last session, outside the classroom

The work sessions were mainly held at our facilities, in a training room. However, the last day was designed with an additional objective: to enhance the experience and encourage participation in a more relaxed environment. Thus, although the format remained "classroom-based," it incorporated group dynamics and a different context that helped to ground the final Teamwork module: real collaboration, active listening, coordination, and cohesion.

The closing ceremony took place on December 11 and was attended by the corporate CEO, Enrique Careaga, and our president, Natalia Olmos. Joining them and representing the owners were Miguel and Natalia Alegre. Their presence fostered a warm gathering, with words of recognition and a meaningful gesture: the personal presentation of diplomas to the participants.

What they take away: learning, teamwork, and purpose

If there is one clear indicator of the value of a program like this, it is what those who have experienced it say. Here are some testimonials collected after the closing ceremony:

For Sonia Gregorio, "it has been very enriching to share knowledge, experiences, and teamwork... and to work not only with our colleagues in Valencia, but also with our colleagues in Poland." Violeta Kuzmina highlights how "through this initiative, we can see that the company is investing in our future, supporting our personal and professional development."

On a personal level, Rosa Belda believes that "the best thing has been discovering how to adapt to new challenges, develop resilience, and acquire a more strategic vision." She concludes with an inspiring quote: "I go to sleep with a dream and wake up with a purpose."

Dominik Grzelak has also had a very personal experience and feels grateful "for the opportunity to improve my behavior and attitude... and to be able to apply this in the future within the company and in my personal life."

Magdalena Kaczmarczyk also has a positive view of the program because, she says, "it has opened my eyes to very important aspects of my personal and professional life... together we have created something incredible."

Kamil Baran also highlights the joint effort, pleased that "this group has created a solid team... and I've also improved my English; everything has been useful." Even Alejandro Espert, who was less optimistic at first, is happy with the result: "At first I wasn't sure, but now I'm very happy to have completed it."

Another pillar in our people strategy

And while satisfaction is evident among participants, it is no less so in the organizing department, Human Resources, which extends its congratulations to the students and its gratitude to the trainers, mentors, and managers responsible for the program's success.

That team closes one cycle, but starts another because the I.Alegre Talent Academy is already preparing a new edition. The project continues to grow to promote continuous training, accelerate professional development, and promote internal talent.
